The VMFRP will colour our floodplains by adding water and now you can colour the floodplains too!

Keep the kids busy these September school holidays with our colouring sheets and enter their creation for a chance to win a yummy $50 Mildura Chocolate Company hamper and colouring pencils.

The VMFRP Colouring-in Collab (short for ‘collaboration’) is designed to inspire young people to explore the amazing flora and fauna of Victoria’s Murray River floodplains via visual art and creativity. We want participants to develop a deeper appreciation of the environment and wildlife reliant on our amazing floodplains.

A Winner and a Runner-up will be drawn randomly (from a hat) in the following age categories:

• 0 to 5 yrs
• 6 to 9 yrs
• 10 yrs +

The lucky winners will each receive a Mildura Chocolate Company hamper valued at $50, a set of 48 colouring pencils and a certificate of congratulations. Their artwork will be published in the VMFRP e-newsletter and social media platforms.

One runner-up in each category will receive a Mildura Chocolate Company giant speckle, a set of 24 colouring pencils, a certificate of congratulations and their artwork will be published on VMFRP social media platforms.

How to enter

1. Download the entry form and colouring sheet above
2. Photograph or scan the finished artwork and save the file using this format: Name, Age, Town (for example: Mark5yoRobinvale)
3. Email your artwork and entry form to info@vmfrp.vic.gov.au by 30 September 2021

Terms and conditions

All entries may be displayed during VMFRP community engagement activities, including at the VMFRP Mildura shopfront.

Winners of the 2021 VMFRP Colouring-in Collab acknowledge that the winning artworks, participant’s name and state of residence will be published in the VMFRP e-newsletter ‘The Babbler’ and on our social media platforms.

Entries are limited to one (1) entry per person and must be received by 30 September 2021. Participants will be notified by email/phone in early November 2021.
